The Process

  • If it feels like a good fit, an invoice and contract are sent to officially reserve your project date.

  • Once booked, everything moves into a private Notion portal with simple prompts to guide what’s needed. This helps get a clear picture of your brand and content before the project starts.

    What’s typically needed:

    • Logo(s)

    • Brand colors

    • Fonts

    • Images

  • The site is built in stages, with check-ins along the way.

    Updates are shared regularly (daily or weekly, depending on the project), and feedback is collected at each milestone.

    Before launch, you’ll also be shown how to make updates to your site moving forward.

  • Once everything is approved, the site is prepared for launch. This includes checking forms, confirming the domain is connected, and making sure the correct Squarespace plan is active.

    From there, the site is ready to share 🎉

  • For the ongoing website cost, you’ll have the Squarespace subscription.

    The exact plan depends on what features you need, but I’ll recommend the Core plan or higher since that supports the kind of setup and customization we’d need.

    If you opt in the annual plan, you’ll get to save an additional $10% off on your first year (Estimated total of $313.20 for the first year or $39/ month if you pick Core plan).

    Squarespace hosting is included in the plan, so you wouldn’t need to pay for separate website hosting.

    If you plan to have an email campaign, you’ll want to factor that in as well. Here’s the current pricing. Pricing is based on how many emails you’ll send a month. (Currently $8/ month for up to 500 emails a month if you pay annually. $12/ month for up to 500 emails a month if you pay monthly).

  • Your domain does not have to be transferred from Spaceship. We can connect it to Squarespace while keeping it where it is.

    If you prefer to transfer it over in the future, that is totally doable.

  • Once I hand over the site to you, you’ll have my video tutorials to help you update products, photos, and text on your own. My goal is always to set things up in a way that feels manageable after launch.

  • Yes, totally. Before launch, we’ll do a quick walkthrough so you feel comfortable making basic updates on your own.

    You’ll also get a few easy video tutorials you can come back to anytime.

    And if anything comes up later, email support is available for questions like accessing your site, Squarespace settings and features, or the occasional weird issue that can pop up after a Squarespace update.

  • Yes, support is available after launch.

    Some projects are best handled in phases. Many clients launch with the essentials first, then add things like new pages, SEO, or enhancements as the business grows.
